By using the service of ViCamtrol, you agree to receive communications from ViCamtrol in the form of e-mails and SMS messages or normal phone call
This site shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any information transmitted or made available via the site, and shall not be responsible or liable for any error or omissions in that information.
4. Conclusion of a contract offer
a) Free Object Inspection
For residence of Malta: ViCamtrol offers a 100% free house inspection
For residence of Gozo: Vicamtrol will charge you with 15€ in advance to cover the ferry boat price for one car and one person.
Vicamtrol will give you a quotation based on the information you were given Vicamtrol or based on the information of the free house inspection.
When there is no other agreement a quotation is valid for 14 days.
5. Conclusion of a purchase contract
A contract between a customer and ViCamtrol is legally done when the customer has send a confirmation of the received quotation before.
The confirmation can be send via Email, Text Message in Chat or via a form the customer has to fill in.
Vicamtrol will send an invoice after a quotation is confirmed. The pre-payment will cover the most costs of the needed material.
The pre-payment will secure the material order. The pre-payment must be paid in between 7 working days (not included Sundays).
7. Cancellation of the contract before the pre-payment
If the pre-payment will not be paid and the customer will cancel the contract Vicamtrol will send an invoice for a service fee to cover the administration costs
what have been caused due the process. The service fee is a fixed amount of €30. The contract can also be canceled by Vicamtrol if the customer will not pay the pre-payment in between 7 working days.
8. Cancellation of the contract after the pre-payment
A cancellation after the pre-payment has been paid will cause administration work for Vicamtrol. Therefore Vicamtrol reserve the rights to charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the total amount of the project started from a minimum of €50. Vicamtrol will deduct the cancellation fee from the refund. Vicamtrol can take up to 14 working days until the refund will be paid counted from the day of the confirmation that the contract will be closed or from the day Vicamtrol received the needed bank details for the refund. Due security reason a refund will be paid via bank transaction only to a bank account what is registered in the name of the client.
9. Cancellation of the contract after the installation has been started.
A cancellation of the contract after the installation has been started is still possible until no item has been mounted. From the moment an item has been mounted - the refund will only be the installation costs. Vicamtrol will deduct the cancellation fee of §8 from the refund.
10. Payment Method
ViCamtrol is offering the following payment methods: Bank Transfer, Credit Cards, Cash, Payment Link for paying via mypos.com
11. Use of personal customer data
ViCamtrol declares that personal customer data will not be passed on to uninvolved third parties.
Personal data is only used for internal processes of Vicamtrol.
12. Delivery time / Installation
Due low operation costs Vicamtrol is not having a stock in Mlalta. Vicamtrol is working with a partner in Spain and will order all materials from outside. After the material for the installation has reached Vicamtrol the installation will start by an agreement of an installation date. Due the internal process Vicamtrol will start the installation up to maximum waiting time of 4 weeks after the pre-payment has been paid. If there is no special agreement, Vicamtrol will complete the system in a period of 3 months. The time of installation can take place later if difficulties occur for which Vicamtrol is not responsible. Vicamtrol will announce these difficulties in a timely manner.
The customer supplies the necessary connection points to the telephone / Internet and power. This particularly includes the need for Internet access point equipment, splitter or power connection points. On request, Vicamtrol can create necessary connection points for a fee. If the ordered system offers remote access via software / app (smartphone), the customer must ensure access to the Internet router (administration area). The customer allows Vicamtrol in the administration area Port forwarding, if necessary.
Vicamtrol is not responsible for any loss of data that may occur during or after modification of the router. If the ordered system offers remote access via software or app (smartphone), this is an additional function for which Vicamtrol assumes no liability. The omission of such a feature does not allow depreciation or return requests, as additional software is not directly related to the purchased device and Vicamtrol has no direct influence on its function. In the case of a dispute, therefore, the principle always decides whether the system is locally operational - without any remote access.
12.1 Additional Software
Vicamtrol is not responsible for the correct use of additional operating software - this is especially true for all time attendance equipment that can be worked with additional software. In any case of dispute it is only important if the stand alone device is working. Therefore, Vicamtrol does not need to provide a free service if the service is related to the configuration of additional software. Vicamtrol assumes no liability for damage or claims of any kind through the use of additional software even if this software was sold from Vicamtrol. Software is a pure object of selling that has no service in relation to the setting and operation of the software.
12.2 Remote View / Remote Access via an APP or Web-interface
Vicamtrol is not responsible for the correct use of additional APP software - this is especially true for all Network / Digital Video recorder / Video IP Cameras or Video Intercom Systems equipment that can be worked optional with an additional APP. In any case of dispute it is only important if the stand alone device is working. Therefore, Vicamtrol does not need to provide a free service if the service is related to the configuration of an additional APP. Vicamtrol assumes no liability for damage or claims of any kind through the use of an additional APP.
12.2 Configuration on existing end devices of the client
In the course of the configuring the customer's end devices, the customer authorizes Vicamtrol to access the end device. The customer authorizes Vicamtrol to view the data stored on the device at the time of the configuration. Vicamtrol acts to the best of its knowledge and belief and assumes no liability for consequential damage that may occur as a result of changing the settings in the device - for example the configuration of a network router or a PC to use the web-interface or an APP.
12.2 Access to a single PC / Notebook / Notepad / Mobile Phone / Network Router
Vicamtrol reserves the right to reject a configuration of end devices from the client if the configuration has an unknown influence on the end device. In this case Vicamtrol will inform the client about the requirements what are needed for a remote access to the delivered system. In any case of dispute it is only important if the stand alone device - what is delivered from Vicamtrol- is working.
13. Emergency Service 24/7
Vicamtrol is offering an 24/7 Emergency Service for an instantly trouble shooting. The costs for an 24/7 Emergency Service are like following:
Fixed ride costs in Malta €7,50 (€20 in Gozo)
Working hour trained electrician / technician €39 per hour (counted each 15 minutes €9,75)
working hour assistant €25 (counted each 15 minutes 6,25)
Emergency Day Surcharge €24,80 (service surcharge for an emergency service call during the day)
Emergency Night Surcharge €49,60 (service surcharge for an emergency service call during the night)
14. free Guarantee Service
In case of a malfunction of a device what was mounted and configured due a purchase contract Vicamtrol will replace the device what is not working proper. During the repair time or delivery time of a new device the customer is not having any rights of refund or impairment. Vicamtrol gives not a guarantee of an operating system through a normal purchase contract. Therefore the customer receive not a right to get another operating device from Vicamtrol during the time of normal restore of use. Vicontrol will try to replace the defective device as soon as possible but can not be held responsible for a late recovery in terms of delivery times and repair times from suppliers or manufacturers.
